Lead The Way Learning Academy Cultivates Community Partnerships at ESCCO Business Advisory Council Meeting

Lead The Way Learning Academy (LTWLA) continued its commitment to community engagement as Executive Director, Anthony Murphy, and Director of Operations, Narahari Luke, attended the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO) Business Advisory Council (BAC) meeting held at Columbus State Community College. The ESCCO serves as a regional educational service agency offering comprehensive support services to school districts and educational institutions throughout central Ohio.


The ESCCO Business Advisory Council functions as a dynamic platform uniting representatives from the local business community, educational leaders, and stakeholders. Its core mission is to cultivate partnerships and foster collaboration between the business sector and the education community, ensuring alignment with workforce needs and promoting student success.



The meeting commenced with an engaging presentation by Brian Gonzalez, Executive Director for Government Partnerships & Initiatives at Intel Corporation. Brian provided valuable insights into Intel's global impact and highlighted the significant role that Central Ohio is poised to play in the company's future endeavors.

Following Brian's presentation, a panel discussion moderated by Jama Cobb, the Work-based Learning Coordinator for ESCCO, took center stage. Jama has been instrumental in forging connections between LTWLA and key business and educational partners, facilitating the delivery of innovative youth workforce development initiatives. Joining the panel was Kelly Fuller, Vice President at the Columbus Chamber of Commerce. Kelly's unwavering advocacy for LTWLA has been instrumental in expanding its footprint within the Columbus business community.
