His Story

Anthony Murphy was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and is a proud alum of Eastmoor High School.  He has 16+ years of managerial and academic experience, having served in the retail industry, public and private schools, and directing the operations of various nonprofit organizations specializing in improving the mental health, and workforce development, of youth.  Mr. Murphy was the Managing Owner of Cap City Preps where he not only produced Central Ohio's largest All-Star game for six consecutive years, but helped 300+ student-athletes earn college scholarships.  He was directly involved in the recruiting process, fostering relationships with colleges and universities and ultimately helping many Columbus City student-athletes.  Mr. Murphy has a passion for helping youth, and believes it is an honor and privilege to serve the community that raised him.

Anthony received a Bachelor's of Art in Business Management from Ohio Christian University as well as a Master's in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Nebraska.

In his spare time, Mr. Murphy is the proud father of five children.  He is an active member of his community and has helped volunteer coach football, basketball, soccer and baseball for 15+ years.  Today, you will likely see him on the sidelines of his sons' college football games and daughters' track & field events.
