2025 Summer WEX/R2E Kick-Off!

We are excited to announce the official launch of our 2025 Summer Work Experience (WEX) / Ready to Earn (R2E) Program! This summer, we are equipping students with real-world skills, hands-on training, and paid opportunities that prepare them for long-term success in the workforce.

We kicked off the first week with our Medical Pathway Program in partnership with VIP Medical Academy. Our first cohort of students is diving into both classroom learning and hands-on experiences while earning $15 per hour. These students are on the path to becoming State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs), working toward their certification and building a foundation for a rewarding healthcare career.

In addition to the STNA program, our Phlebotomy Cohort has officially begun, giving students the opportunity to explore another vital area of the medical field.

We’re also proud to announce the launch of our Event Planning Cohort, in collaboration with BurgundyGinger Events. This program offers students the chance to learn the ins and outs of planning, organizing, and executing events, combining creativity with professional development.

At Lead The Way, our mission is to empower the youth with clarity, inspiration, drive, and opportunities for growth—and this summer’s WEX/R2E program is a shining example of that mission in action. We are proud of our students and grateful to our community partners for making this work possible.
