On September 24, 2025, Marissa Pierce and her team represented Lead The Way at an impactful event hosted by CSH. The watch party featured the 27-minute documentary Returning Home, which highlights how supportive housing transforms lives for individuals reentering society after incarceration.
This program is the only one of its kind in the U.S., showing powerful results: reducing recidivism, increasing stability, and creating safer communities. CSH is now working to expand these programs nationwide.
At Lead The Way, we believe in preparing our youth to thrive by connecting them to real-world conversations about justice, equity, and community impact. Just as CSH provides second chances and pathways to stability, our academy equips students with the tools, mentorship, and opportunities to lead the way in building a stronger, more supportive society.
