A Night of Excitement and Empowerment: Groveport Madison Students Attend Columbus Fury Game!

Groveport Students Attended the Columbus Fury Professional Volleyball game, compliments of the Columbus Fury Community Relations Department.

On Wednesday, April 17th, students from Groveport Madison High School, accompanied by Lead The Way coaches, had the incredible opportunity to attend the final Columbus Fury volleyball game of the season. Held at the iconic Nationwide Arena, the matchup featured the hometown team, Columbus Fury, battling it out against the San Diego Mojos in a high-energy, crowd-thrilling match.

An Unforgettable Game Day Experience

The game itself was a dynamic, back-and-forth contest, filled with intensity, teamwork, and athletic excellence. The Columbus Fury secured a hard-earned victory in the fourth set, leaving the crowd—and our students—cheering with pride. The experience offered more than just entertainment; it was an inspiring example of determination, sportsmanship, and the power of women in professional athletics.

Fun, Community, and Lasting Memories

The students had an unforgettable night of joy and connection. From appearing on the Jumbotron to watching Coach De’Von catch a t-shirt during halftime, the energy was high and the smiles were wide. These moments of laughter and shared excitement strengthened relationships and built memories that will last long after the final whistle.

To cap off an already memorable evening, students had the opportunity to meet Columbus Fury players, collect autographs, and engage with the athletes up close.
