Today's leadership workshop started with an introduction of our comprehensive job training, workforce and leadership initiatives. The youth learned and collaborated on the distinctions between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset. The youth began exposure activities aimed at providing opportunities for them to learn about diverse careers, receiving employability skills training, participating in work-based learning and honing soft-skills. Founder Jackie Kemp kicked things off with her inspiring story, while Mr. Kendall Lee facilitated the workshop. The event drew an impressive turnout of both youth and participating families!
