We are thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievements of one of our exemplary West HS students, Verchiel A. Arellano, who has already taken a significant step towards a future filled with promise and service. On March 29, 2024, he was officially sworn into the Army National Guard, committing to serve and protect our nation while continuing to pursue his personal and professional goals.
A standout member of the LTWLA program, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional academic prowess, leadership qualities, and a commitment to excellence that distinguishes him as a student and as a future soldier. His dedication to his studies and his country is not just commendable, but inspiring to all of us in the community.
Joining the Army National Guard allows him to continue his education and contribute to his community and country simultaneously. This path offers a unique blend of military and civilian life, providing opportunities for further personal development and career advancement.
