On Thursday, March 23, 2023 HSA students had the opportunity to visit Del-Co Water Treatment Plant. Students learned the process of how the drinking water for the neighboring communities is treated, and disbursed to homes. The staff was amazing and spoke with the students about the many job opportunities and internships available. This treatment plant showed the process of which the water comes from the Olentangy or Scioto River, is processed through may different levels and then becomes safe enough for us to drink and use for our everyday essentials.
