Westside youth kicked off their after-school program by actively participating in Ohio Mean Jobs. The program featured group activities and discussions centered on professionalism, diversity, positive attitudes and teamwork in the workplace. Engaging in practical scenarios, the youth immersed themselves in different things that could happen in the workplace and a series of activities aligned to the week's focus. Guiding the participants through this learning experience, Coach Christian and Coach Fred led small group discussions to discuss their responses and develop strategies for improving their skills. This discussion provided the youth with a clear understanding of the expectations in future workplaces, empowering them with valuable insights and practical knowledge.
