LTWLA had the pleasure of hosting our inaugural guest speaker, Donte Woods ("Cheff God"), for the 2023-2024 school year at both Groveport-Madison High School and Cruiser Accel. Cheff God was honored to share insights into his journey, recounting the triumphs and challenges of owning and operating his restaurant, Str8 Out The Kitchen—a successful black-owned business specializing in soul food cuisine.

We are grateful for him not only highlighting his path to success, but also candidly sharing the obstacles he encountered while striving to achieve his dream of entrepreneurship. He emphasized the road to becoming an entrepreneur does not happen overnight; rather, it takes hard work, diligence and dedication.

Cheff God delivered an informative presentation, guiding students through the step-by-step process of visualizing a plan, creating it, and strategically working towards their career goals. He expressed the significance of seizing the moment, especially for juniors and seniors in high school, encouraging them to envision their post-high school trajectories and set ten-year goals.

We express our sincere gratitude to Cheff God for gracing Groveport Madison High School with his presence and generously sharing his valuable insights. His guidance has undoubtedly left a lasting impact on our students, inspiring them on their journeys to success.
