Our Westside youth collaborated with Mr. Scott Williams (West HS Counselor) for a one-day college tour to Ohio Dominican University and University of Cincinnati. Youth got a front seat to campus life, gaining exposure to college life, touring various facilities and eating lunch at a college dining hall's all-you-can-eat buffet bar. This was an amazing experience for our youth, marking the first time some of them have stepped foot on a college campus! This visit provided insights into the array of programs available on campus, along with available scholarships opportunities. Additionally, the youth toured different housing options and learned about the admissions services offered by each institution. Overall, this experience was great for our youth, broadening their horizons and presenting them with valuable options for their future college attendance.
